Book Review: Spank Me

The latest addition to Xcite’s range is up to their ususal high standards. With diverse spanking stories from numerous Scarlet favourites including Jade Taylor and Liz Coldwell, if you like a firm hand - giving or receiving - you” be gasping in no time. And even if spanking’s not your kink, the ’straight’ sex scenes are well written and hot enough to provide relief.

I’ve read a few collections of spanking stories, but Spank Me is without a doubt one of the best.  I first got it as an ebook last week, but I’ve read a few of the stories over and over, and they continue to thrill!

I love getting books in ebook format so I can read them on my computer, or take them with me on my Sony Digital Book Reader and read them anywhere I like without worrying about who sees the cover art.  At first I was reluctant to buy a collection of short stories, realizing how much hot spanking stories available free on the internet, including here at Saucy Nights!

However, I promise you that you will not regret getting this book.  It’s 200 pages of well-crafted stories that will absolutely delight any spanko, and probably even some who just flirt with the idea of having their bottoms warmed…or warming someone else’s.  What I loved is the variety of styles, settings, and scenarios.  Very creative, and absolutely delicious, and it will introduce you to some authors who you will want to read more of.  My two favorite stories in this spanking collection had to be “Snookered” and “My Therapist in Action”, but I’m sure as you browse through page after page of incredible spanking goodness, you’ll find your very own favorites that will delight you time after time.

I decided to try out the 3D Sex Virtual Reality game Cherry Dolls, because I was curious if it could be used to illustrate either stories or for some additional visuals for the site.

After a couple of kinks in getting it installed on Vista, and playing around with the camera controls, my models were in action.

The Pros:

• I was surprised I actually found it something of a turn-on. I expected it to be pretty silly, actually, but the 69 pose especially was a lot of fun to watch.
• The camera controls are amazing. You can get in nooks and crannies that would just not be anatomically possible with anything other than VR. This was great.
• You can control the speed of the sex, even telling them to pause, which also adds the possibility for some interesting screenshots all on its own.
• The characters do move and shift position, which adds some interest to the shots.
• There’s a meter on the side to tell you how close both characters are to orgasm, which is amusing, to say the least. I wish I had one of these sometimes.

The Cons:

• There are only three female models to choose from, and the male model you can only choose his skin color. I’d really like more variety here.
• I should have listed under ‘pros’, that there are about 8 positions to choose from, but I can’t help but greedily want more more more variety, although in fairness I did get an email saying that even girl on girl action will be available in a future upgrade.
• When the guy is ready to come, there’s a button that pops up that says “come on her” and all of a sudden she’s sitting in front of him (but you can’t actually see him) and you choose whether to come on her face or her chest. Umm, well maybe not my cup of tea, but possibly this is a guy thing. It’s optional though, and if you don’t push the button, he’ll just come inside her.

The Verdict:

With the exception of the last bit, my complaints really were that I wanted more. More girls, more positions, more variety, more locations… so if it left me wanting more, it must have been all right!

I downloaded Arabian Pearl from ebooks.com yesterday, and although some of my experiences in downloading erotica ebooks have been mixed, this one was a real pleasure. The story goes that Lady Celia Davenport has been abducted, sold into slavery, and now finds herself in the bed of an Infidel lord. If she gives him erotic pleasure with subservient eagerness, there is a glimmer of hope in her future.

Now with much erotica, it’s a contrived situation to allow for as much sex as possible in a short number of pages, but the storyline here is intriguing and I found myself turning page after virtual page, breathless to find out what would happen next. The story is not predictable, and even until the end I was not sure which way fate would take the two main characters.

Very well written and expertly crafted, but even more important than that, the saucy sex scenes were deliciously juicy. Although there was a slight hint of domination, most of the sex was gentle and romantic… as much as possible between two strangers “forced” into roleplaying a master-slave relationship.

I’d give this book 9/10 Saucy Stars!
